    Description

    Offered is this antique letter handwritten by one of the partners, Woods, on letterhead from the law offices of Moomaw & Woods in Roanoke, Virginia, dated May 3, 1890. The other partner, C. B. Moomaw, would be mayor of Roanoke from 1913 until his death in 1915. The back is blank. This is a rare find; at the time of original listing I could not find any other items from this company for sale on eBay.
    The document is approx. 11" x 8 1/2" and is in good condition for its age. There are no tears but there are a few very tiny holes. It is heavily creased on the folds and has yellowed but the writing is easily read.
